No posts with label jlo: 01-24-13 at 5:40p: NB: Information on Calcitriol that can be relayed to owner when she calls back: Suspect owner is referring to many online sources that refer to rechecking calcium levels after starting Calcitriol -which we do recheck on most of our renal patients (iCa on Chem 8 and Calcium on IDX1 profile). We use low doses of calcitriol and cannot come up with any instances of any of our patients that have had an issue with elevated calcium levels on the doses we use, so we do not focus our attention on frequent calcium rechecks, but rather more pressing . If owner wishes to check calcium levels more frequently, we would likely be happy to oblige. :). Show all posts
